The Suzhou Public Cultural Center is located at 2075 Renmin Road, with a total construction area of 33400 square meters. It is adjacent to the North Temple Tower to the east, Park Garden to the west, Kun Theater to the north, and the Silk Museum to the south. In terms of landscape form, cultural activities, heritage protection and other aspects, it has achieved a harmonious integration with the historical style of Taohuawu Block, and has formed a public cultural service center integrating public cultural activities, art exhibition display, patriotism education, Intangible cultural heritage display, and citizens' leisure tourism in the Gucheng District of Suzhou.

In November 2019, the List of National * Intangible cultural heritage Representative Project Protection Units was released, and Suzhou Public Cultural Center (Suzhou Art Museum, Suzhou Culture Museum, Suzhou Hall of Fame) was awarded the qualification of "Taohuawu Woodcut New Year Painting" project protection unit.
