The Jiangbei New Campus of Nanjing Agricultural University was fully started at the end of the 20th century. At present, the first phase of the project has been completed, covering an area of about 1158 mu and a building area of about 770000 square meters. The second phase of the project is still under construction. If all of it is completed and put into use, the project will cover an area of 2524 acres, with a total construction area of 179416.79 square meters. The construction includes the administrative building, conference center, sports hall, student cafeteria, student apartment, school hospital, etc. When fully completed and put into operation, it will further promote the overall development of Nanjing Agricultural University, and will also be of great help to the overall economic development of Jiangbei New Area.
